Our team along with the Kuranda community took part in the NAIDOC Day March. The march started its journey to the Amphitheatre from Centenary Park at 10:00 am.
There was a welcoming to country ceremony followed by dancing exhibitions and live music from local bands including Zenith, Mantaks and Koahalition.
‘Kuppi Murri’, an ancient tradition of cooking food in the ground was also done for everyone to enjoy.
Photos on the day were taken by Kuranda Photography, which is a Community Development Program (CDP) activity.
It was a great day by all, and proud to get involved with our community to celebrate NAIDOC Week.
