KOCA- Keeping Our Culture Alive-weaving

Participants engaging in this activity are learning and gaining skills in traditional arts and crafts including basket weaving, using natural dyes, harvesting materials, marketing and selling products. They are also making other products using this technique including contemporary baskets, bags and jewellery. Participants are gaining other skills like retail, cash handling and learning to work as a team, build a routine, gain self-confidence, motivation, and can lead to employment in retail.
