Everyone together at the Community Development Program Leadership forum in Sydney.

Recently, TRACQS attended the Community Development Program Leadership Forum in Sydney, joining thought leaders and experts within the Indigenous, Training and Employment Services spaces to discuss ongoing collaboration and innovation between organisations.

The TRACQS team was thrilled to join our community partners with the aim of working together to strengthen engagement.

The key take-away from the day was simple: For our team to deliver high-quality activities and employment outcomes for our CDP participants and employers in Kuranda.

Con Kittos, CEO of PeoplePlus Australia, hosted the day and was joined by special guest speaker The Honourable Ken Wyatt AM, MP, Minister for Indigenous Australians, who provided the group with an update on the Indigenous Affairs portfolio and the Community Development Program.

Mr Wyatt also led a Q&A session, giving delegates the opportunity to learn from his expertise in the Indigenous and employment spaces.

The day also covered a reflection on the past, present and future of the Community Development Program with TRACQS’ General Manager, Simon Rodgers, as well as a workshop delivered by TRACQS’ Compliance Manager, Shannon Brady, focusing on key performance indicators and community engagement.

As always, TRACQS is thrilled to be working with and learning from the experts in our industry to help improve the wider Kuranda community.
