Here at TRACQS, we support our participants by providing meaningful training and employment opportunities that in turn, help empower communities.

To provide the quality of service that we do, it takes a dedicated team of passionate and like-minded people, working together to help others achieve their goals.

So, say hello to our administration Assistant, Jason, who works with our team in Kuranda.

The 22-year old, Mt Isa local and proud Kalkadoon man recently relocated to Kuranda and was looking for employment. With previous work experience in retail, Jason had a knack for customer engagement and was aiming for full-time work.

Coming into the TRACQS office as a jobseeker, the team immediately took to Jason’s charisma. Our Employment Manager recognised his potential and offered Jason a job as our Administration Assistant.

Jason really enjoys being able to make positive changes and interact with the community, so much so, that he is now undertaking tertiary studies in Community Services and is considering making this his long-term career path.

Jason has been connected to the Vocational Training and Employment Centre (VTEC) where he will be undertaking his studies through Australian Training Works (ATW) with the support from Keara (Employment Support Consultant).

Jason radiates positivity and is a shining light in the office, we’re so lucky to have him as a part of our team and wish you continued success in your career development.
