Here at TRACQS, we have an exciting opportunity for an Employment Consultant to work with a leading Community Development Program (CDP) Provider to provide and deliver quality pre- and post-employment and training services to Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians across the Western Tablelands of Far North Queensland.

The employment consultant will work closely with the Program Manager, Team Leader, and relevant internal and external stakeholders to establish employment opportunities through the Community Development Program and other Initiatives.

We’re looking for someone to:

• Work with CDP participants to meet their mutual obligations in accordance with CDP guidelines
• Provide high-level case management to CDP participants
• Develop and maintain comprehensive, individually tailored Job Plans
• Provide pre-employment support through good case management, training, job search skills, resume development, and hosted placements
• Refer participants to Job Placement Consultants for potential employment opportunities
• Maintain regular face-to-face contact appointments with participants
