Kerstine Pattison Uhlemann

Colour therapist, painter, and nature lover Kerstine Pattison Uhlemanns’ artwork embodies her love of colour and expression of place in the world.

Born and raised in East Germany surrounded by great works of art, artefacts and architecture influenced and attuned her art appreciation.

After a hiatus to travel, work and raise children, Kerstine; now living in Julatten Far North Queensland, reconnected to her passion for painting re-establishing her love of colour found in beautiful landscapes.

Reflecting on her colour connection Kerstine states; “The power of colour are the key ingredients to my work.  To me painting and working with colours is meditation, creative flow, healing and power.” One can sense this through her use of colour and its application onto canvas. Elements of tactile qualities formed by the palette knife and brush, abstract themes and complimentary colours all work in synergy.

Kerstin’s current works are being presented along with selected works through the Creative Communities exhibition space in Kuranda Far North Queensland during 2021.
