Living close to a small, endangered, colony of Rock Wallaby’s I often have ‘Close Encounters’ with these tiny AUSSIE CRITTERS. Watching Mums and Bubs scaling the rocky boulders in which they live is always fascinating and quite a treat. Often I come across them sitting quietly in a private nook amongst their rocky home. They let me approach to a safe viewing distance and their eyes never leave mine. Their constant surveillance is watching for any sign of danger, a connection is made. It’s always a privilege to see them in the wild and even better when you see they feel comfortable with my presence.
