My love for the country I live on, Djabugay country, is shown in these earrings as they are made from the Quandong seeds that the local Cassowary eats as food. They eat the outer flesh and leave behind the seed that I have used in these earrings. They represent the local indigenous Cassowary bird that is a  protected species and only found in FNQ areas. The seeds are light and are 7.5cm in length.
